Property Tax Payment During Canada Post Strike

web@dminUncategorized

Due to the current Canada Post strike, the Town of Niverville is unable to receive payment for property taxes by mailed cheque.

If you have already mailed a cheque that has not yet been received by the Town, please be aware that we may not receive it in time for the property tax payment deadline. Once mail service has been restored, if we receive a cheque that has been postmarked (marked for delivery by Canada Post for a certain date) for September 29th, 2025, or earlier, any penalties for the associated account will be reversed. Penalties will still apply for any cheque postmarked for September 30th, 2025, or later.

The Town of Niverville is still accepting property tax payments in person at the Town Administration Office (329 Bronstone Drive, Niverville, MB), through your financial institution’s app or website, or through the Town of Niverville’s e-Services portal (fees may apply). Please be aware that if payment is made through any of these methods, it must still be received at the Town office by 5:00 PM on Monday, September 29th, 2025.

We regret any inconvenience that this may cause.
