The Niverville Fire & Emergency Services has been approached by a local business with a generous offer and a challenge to other local businesses and the public.
The Offer & Challenge:
The anonymous donor will match any donation, from any local businesses or citizen, up to a total of $25,000!
What the donation will go towards:
To replace our old “Jaws of Life” unit. A new unit costs $55,000. Currently our department has raised $14,000 towards this purchase.
What is the “Jaws of Life” used for:
In the emergency that a victim is trapped in their vehicle, we use the Jaws of Life to pry open the vehicle so we can safely remove the victim, allowing emergency responders to tend to them as fast as possible.
We are very grateful for this opportunity, as it is our mission to serve our community with the best care possible. In emergency situations, attending to patients and ensuring their health and safety is our priority.
Tax receipts for any donation of $20 or more, will be issued from the Town of Niverville. We hope to reach this goal by December 2, 2022.

The Town of Niverville will be accepting donations on behalf of the Niverville Fire Department for its JAWS Fundraiser. Donations can be made in person at the Town office or by mailing a cheque payable to the Town of Niverville. Official receipts will be issued at the end of the campaign.
