It’s “snow” laughing matter…the recent significant snowfall has been a challenge for both the snow clearing crews and residents alike.
While snow clearing of streets is still a work in progress, due to waste and recycling pick-up scheduled for Thursday, Feb 3, staff will be focusing on clearing sidewalks and hauling snow instead of clearing streets.
If you notice an area requiring snow clearing or sanding (i.e.. “The intersection at Krahn and St Andrews has a drift”) please send this information to: snowclearing@whereyoubelong.ca This email is for notifying the Operations Department only and no follow up response will be provided to any of these emails.
As per the Town’s Snow Clearing Policy (O1-13 https://www.whereyoubelong.ca/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/2013-O1-13-Snow-Clearing.pdf) homeowners are responsible for the removal of snow ridges in their driveways.
