With it still being dry, and wind gust speeds expected to exceed 100 km/h today (May 14th, 2026), the Town of Niverville wants to remind all residents that no burning is allowed during high winds.
Currently, our Fire Bylaw states that no fires are allowed to be set or maintained when wind speeds meet or exceed 32 km/h.
As well, please keep an eye out for and report immediately any downed power lines that you may notice.
