There will be a Remembrance Day service taking place at the Niverville Heritage Centre (100 Heritage Trail) at 10am on November 11th. The Leushko family, a Ukrainian refugee family, will be the guest speakers. The Leushko family recently moved to Steinbach after leaving their war torn community. Now in Canada, their mission is to help other families find safety and peace in Canada.
Following the service, the Remembrance Day Committee invites you to a light lunch at the Heritage Centre so the important intergenerational conversations can continue in a spirit of fellowship and community. Donations will be graciously accepted. The money received helps to offset the costs of the event and a portion will also be donated to veterans.
