News

With the spring thaw arriving quickly, the Town of Niverville wants to provide information on the upcoming 2026 Spring Road Restrictions to residents, helping ensure that they are aware of what to expect in the upcoming months.

The Town has unfortunately not yet received a date from the Province of Manitoba for when these restrictions will go into effect. We ask residents to please keep an eye on our website and social media for future updates.

An important change to note for 2026 is that materials deliveries during spring road restrictions will only be permitted with authorization from our Director of Operations. To inquire about authorization during the 2026 Spring Road Restrictions, please reach out to feedback@whereyoubelong.ca.

Some further notes regarding deliveries during the 2026 Spring Road Restrictions:

  • Only the routes marked in green on the 2026 Road Restrictions Map found below are designated as 90% Axle Load. All other roads are designated as 65% Axle Load.
  • All authorized deliveries are asked to leave using the same route used to enter the community.
  • All authorized deliveries should be to new builds only. No landscaping, shingles, or other deliveries allowed to previously constructed buildings.
  • Authorized deliveries to the 5th Avenue Estates West development are allowed only via Krahn Road and Mulberry Drive. Please do not use Arena Road for deliveries under ANY circumstances.

We encourage everyone, if possible, to make arrangements for deliveries to happen before or after the 2026 Spring Road Restrictions.

Please reach out to feedback@whereyoubelong.ca if you have any questions!
