The Town of Niverville has re-opened playgrounds and batting cages. Parents are asked to educate their children about the ways to reduce the risk of infection by physical distancing and proper hand hygiene. Residents are asked to take note that the Province still requires that people maintain a distance of at least two metres, except for brief exchanges. No more than 10 people may gather in common areas and congregation of people is actively discouraged.
Baseball diamonds are currently closed, trails and greens spaces are open within our parks but only to non-contact sports and activities. Washrooms in Hespeler Park will remain closed to the public at the present time.
The Town Office will remain closed to walk in traffic and those requiring access may book an appointment by calling 204-388-4600 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. For information on alternate bill payment options please visit https://www.whereyoubelong.ca/town-administration/taxes-utilities/online-payments
Council meetings are still being held at the South End of the Niverville Centennial Arena and physical distancing mechanisms are in effect for those attending the meetings.
