Niverville is requesting permission from the Public Utilities Board for a sewer rate increase. On August 15th, 2017 Council took the initial step in this process by giving first reading to By-law 782-17, a by-law to establish sewer utility rates for 2018 through 2020.

This morning there was a car accident involving a hydro pole at the corner of Main St and 4th Ave S. Electric power to Niverville and surrounding area will be off for approximately 2 hours while repair crews are on the scene.
Main Street between 3rth Ave and 5th Ave will remain closed. Access to Co-op gas station remains open from 1st St S.
Building site selected for new Niverville Highschool
Hanover School Division is pleased to announce an agreement in principle to purchase serviced land from the Town of Niverville for the construction of a new 66,700 sq. ft. high school. Scheduled for completion by September 2019, the school will serve 450 Grade 9 -12 students and have expansion capacity for up to 550 students.
