Newest Municipal Board Member - Posted on August 31
The Municipal Board has a new member from Southeast Manitoba. Gordon Daman, former Mayor of Niverville has been appointed as a new member with a term expiring on July 28 2013. The Municipal Board is a quasi-judicial tribunal with jurisdication over a number of local government issues. We take this opportunity to congratulate Gordon and look forward to him bringing his experience and skills to this important appointment.

The Fall Community Garage Sale is BACK! - Posted on August 26
Niverville’s annual Fall Community Garage sale is back and bigger then ever! This year we will be teaming up with Eastern Manitoba Tourism and taking part in their Canada’s Longest Garage Sale event! What this means is that our Community Garage Sale will be advertised throughout Manitoba and will bring EVEN MORE people out looking for that great deal! The event will run from September 10-12 (it is up to the homeowner if they would like to participate all 3 days or just 1 or 2). To register please call the Town office at 388-4600 by Tuesday, September 7 to have your address added to the list. The list of addresses will be made available for pickup Thursday, September 9. The Town Office does have a VERY LIMITED number of Community Garage Sale signs available. A reminder to PLEASE return any signs that you may find hiding in your garage from previous garage sales.

2nd Annual Recreation & Wellness Showcase - Posted on August 26
The 2nd Annual Recreation and Wellness Showcase will be held Wednesday, September 15th from 4:30 - 9:30 at the Niverville Heritage Centre. This year’s event will include demonstrations, a guest speaker, prizes, fall registration for ALL NCI and CIS sports programs AND MORE! If your organization or business is involved in Recreation & Wellness in any way, you won't want to miss this event. Limited spaces are available so register early by contacting john.falk@whereyoubelong.ca or call John Falk at 688-5224 for more info.
